The Peel-Harvey Catchment comprises an area of about 1.1 million hectares around the Serpentine, Harvey and Murray River systems (the latter includes the Hotham and Williams Rivers) that drain into the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary, a part of the internationally significant, Ramsar listed Peel-Yalgorup system
