  • Get Smart (Oct 2009)

Smartphones such as iPhones are taking the world by storm. Potentially they enable unprecedented access to your organisation's knowledge and can greatly enhance your service delivery. However most websites are designed for computer screens, not small Smartphone screens. EKSA can now develop Smartphone friendly websites for the KnowledgeOn and ShowOn products.

  • ShowOn local heritage (Sept 2009)

Have you tried getting information about your local natural, Aboriginal or cultural heritage? The information is usually there but is mostly locked away in people's heads, publications, filing cabinets or hard drives. To address this problem EKSA has developed ShowOn as a way of making this information more accessible and usable. ShowOn enables your community to show-off its valuable heritage to anyone, anywhere and at anytime.

  • Regional NRM knowledge bases developed (June 2009)

EKSA has prepared regional best management practice (BMP) knowledge bses for WA's Rangelands region and the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council (NACC) region. Both contain localised BMP information for orchard management including land and soil, water, fertilisers, biodiversity, chemicals, waste, energy and air quality. The NACC site also includes localised guidelines for horse management.

  • SiteLink is here (Jan 2009)

EKSA can now geo-reference information in the RCMT and export this to a Google Map application embedded in your wiki. This means you can show your clients relevant demonstration, trial and project sites in your region. Your clients can select a site and then link to a wiki page with detailed information about the site and associated activities. Project officers can easily update and add content for all to see, anywhere and anytime.

  • RCM Wiki developed (Sept 2008)

Instead of exporting content from the RCAT to a static HTML website or CD-ROM we can now export your content to a collaborative website called a wiki. This means that you can now update content yourself and allow memebers of your organisation to add, edit and discuss content. A number of our existing clients have chosen to have their content exported to wikis.

  • RCMT upgraded (Sept 2008)

The RCAT has been upgraded so that we can link contacts and sources to nodes. This means we can now provide link in 'tacit' knowledge resources (e.g. guru's) as 'reference' where information in the nodes comes from. We can also link evidence-based to a node such as a policy, legal or industry certification requirement or the source of a BMP.
