Summary:

Review fuel and electricity consumption and identify practices for the efficient management and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Consumption of electricity and fuel resources shall be reviewed and efficient operating practices for major plant and machinery shall be identified.

Machinery and equipment shall be serviced, repaired or replaced to maintain efficient operational condition. Energy efficiency shall be considered when purchasing new machinery or equipment.

Machinery and equipment servicing and repair records shall be kept. The records shall include the following information:


  • date of service;
  • service details;
  • name of the person that conducted the service.
